These specialists assist in the design and planning of below-ground or structural waterproofing. Previously, recognising an individual with the Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) qualification required asking individual companies if they employed such professionals. Now, the PCA register makes it easy to identify and engage a waterproofing design specialist, ensuring design teams can conform to the recommendations set out in BS8102:2009.
